Aequitas Invest is a women-focused investment platform founded in Omaha in 2024 with the goal of addressing the deep funding gap faced by women entrepreneurs. Built on the values of equity, justice, and empowerment, AQI works to connect women-led ventures with investors who want to create meaningful impact. By opening the door to broader investment participation, the company aims to make capital more accessible and diversify who has a seat at the table in the investment world.
Set to officially launch in 2025, Aequitas Invest represents both a financial platform and a movement to change how resources flow to women-led businesses. My work on this project involved creating the company’s branding and visual identity system, helping translate their mission into a professional, trustworthy, and inspiring design presence.

The name Aequitas comes from the Roman goddess who personified fairness, justice, and equity. She was often depicted with a balance scale, symbolizing equality, and the sword representing justice.
Our mission is to create a fairer financial landscape by giving women equal access to opportunities through crowdfunding. Just as Aequitas represented balance and justice in ancient Rome, we represent balance in the modern economy — where women’s ideas, voices, and ventures deserve equal space and support.
